oil patch.

        a G-economy stock
        with D-economy
characteristics.
        As a refresher,
        G-economy stocks are those
that are
        likely to benefit from
        inflation that is
        driven by government
policy,
        while D-economy stocks
should do well if
        interest fall on the back
of deflation fears.
        Topaz Energy is a royalty
and
        energy infrastructure
company
        primarily focused on
        natural gas production and
taking
        non-operating ownership
interests in
        natural gas processing
plants.
        For the first six months
of 2021,
        the company generated
$78.7 million revenue,
        about 70% is from
        production royalties that
is heavily
        weighted to natural gas.
        The company's focus on
        the natural gas industry
        clearly makes it G-economy
stock.

        Meanwhile period the
company
        generated $71.8 million
        in cash during that period
which is
        supporting an annualized
        dividend yield of 5.2%.
        That high yield provides a
margin of safety
        should a D-economy emerge.
        In such a scenario,
        a lot may depend on how
        natural gas demand holds
up.
        At this point, insiders
appear to
        like the value proposition
offered
        by the stock as
        insiders continue to
accumulate shares.
